Shri Vishwanathdham Ashram
Currently, the ashram undertakes various public welfare initiatives, including operating a free food distribution center, facilitating the marriages of underprivileged girls, providing meals to students studying the Vedas and Sanskrit, and promoting and preserving Sanatan Dharma through Yagya, Anushthan, and Homa.
Since its foundation, the Akshay Khazana scheme has ensured that approximately 100 Sanskrit students receive food every evening. Additionally, the ashram organizes the marriages of around 100 girls each year.
During the Chaturmas period, when Param Pujya Gurudev Swamiji Maharaj resides at the ashram, various social, religious, and cultural programs are held over three months, featuring numerous yagnas, anushthans, and homas.
Major festivals, including Independence Day, Sri Krishna Janmashtami, and Sri Ganesh Chaturthi, are celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy. Furthermore, around 100 Bal-Gopal and girls from the local community receive evening meals, along with support for their school fees, study materials, and Dakshina.
Through Bhandara events, daily essentials, including food and Dakshina, are provided to Brahmins, Sanskrit students, and saints.
The ashram features 39 fully air-conditioned residential rooms to accommodate devotees comfortably. The Pandit Ghanshyam Das Sharma Smriti Auditorium is equipped with a permanent stage, sound and lighting systems, and a Vyas Peetha, making it ideal for Shrimad Bhagwat Katha recitations, conventions, and meetings.
The ashram remains committed to expanding its charitable efforts while enhancing modern facilities for the benefit of all.
