Prakhar Propkar Mission Sanskrit University
Sanskrit, the world’s oldest language, is intricately linked to the ancient history of human civilization and holds significant potential as a modern language. However, in today’s materialistic age, Sanskrit faces significant challenges, leading to a decline in appreciation for the Indian Vedic tradition. As many in India become increasingly attracted to Western civilization, there is a growing disconnection from our cultural roots, resulting in a decline in humanity and a waning faith in religion among the populace.
In response to these pressing issues, Param Pujya Swami Shri Prakhar Ji Maharaj took the initiative to revitalize interest in the Sanskrit language and promote the significance of the Vedas among the Indian masses. To this end, he established Sanskrit colleges across the country, designed to foster a deep understanding of these ancient texts.
All these colleges are based on the traditional Gurukul system, where students not only receive Vedic education but also study Sanskrit, Indian literature, poetry, music, and yoga. This holistic approach aims to cultivate a renewed appreciation for our rich cultural heritage.
The institute makes arrangements for free accommodation and food etc. for the economically poor Brahmin boys of the country who wish to study Sanskrit. Where they can be made useful in national, religious, spiritual and ritualistic events by providing them high quality education and can serve the country by occupying high positions in the administrative services (IAS, IPS, PCS etc.) of the country. To make such well-educated and deserving students self-reliant, rich people can adopt the students educationally and get this holy benefit and increase the happiness and prosperity of their family.
